Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 47 ℉, condition: Windy.

There was fishable water yesterday.  Everything was high and cloudy, but the Timber Coulee was fishable late in the evening as Geri and I drove and scouted water.  No more rain last night and all the waters are dropping and clearing pretty well.  As long as there is no more rain we will have stained water this weekend to fish.
Today, expect cloudy to stained water but, again, fishable.
Leeches, streamers, big nymphs and scuds under cloudy water.  As it clears, smaller nymphs will work again and we will start to see fish rising.
