Driftless Area
Rating: 3, temperature: 77 ℉, condition: Heavy Rain.
Fishing has been quite good lately, especially in the mornings as we have had cloudy weather in the mornings.Cloudy and drizzly today again, we have had no significant rain to muddy up the streams. Overall our area waters are clear.
We are seeing more lighter colored mayflies hatching throughout the cloudy portions of the day. There are also egg laying yellow sallies and craneflies flying around too.
The best action is still sub surface on tiny thin bodied nymphs and chunky small nymphs representing yellow sallies and cranefly larvae.
