Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 62 ℉, condition: Windy.

Cool night with cool rain last night.  Just over a tenth of an inch in Viroqua and a few heavier showers area wide means streams will be stained to clear this morning.
It looks like we will have cloud cover and some drizzle through the weekend, setting up fishing (and specifically olive hatches) to continue to be very good, as a bright sun has been the limiting factor lately.
More fish are being taken on small parachute adams and blue winged olives during the cloudy afternoons, while terrestrials are still doing well on the surface.
Subsurface is yet again scuds and smaller thin bodied nymphs (olive imitations) with leeches still getting some larger aggressive fish.
The weather is just about perfect over the next few days, take advantage of it before season ends!
