Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 69 ℉, condition: Windy.

Fishing remains strong with the cooler nights and cloud cover the past few days.  Olives are hatching sporadically and fish are rising to ants, beetles, and darker hoppers/crickets.
Scuds and small nymphs (18-22) are working sub surface as is anything with a bit of peacock herl on it (prince nymph, anat-o-may etc).
Clouds increasing as we head into the afternoon which should get fish feeding a bit better than the morning today.
Into the weekend we are looking at clouds and cold nights.  The limiting factor to fishing is the sun lately, so the weekend is looking quite solid!
