Driftless Area

Rating: 5, temperature: 68 ℉, condition: Windy.

Fishing was strong this weekend with anglers overall reporting good catching!
It continues to be cloudy and today we may see some drizzle or light rain later on.  Fish have been eating olives and midges on the surface, as well as smaller terrestrials (ants, beetles etc).  Subsurface smaller nymphs have been great (blue winged olives) as have emergers when we are seeing rising fish.
Scuds are still very strong, as are leeches and streamers.
Weather is great, leaves are changing, and the Wisconsin season ends at the end of this month!
