Driftless Area

Rating: 4, temperature: 71 ℉, condition: Heavy Rain.

Back to normal with cooler weather from here to the end of the season.
No rain yesterday which  means our waters are clear and fishing well.  There is a good chance we will see some rain tonight, but not enough forecasted to muddy up the waters significantly.
Fishing has been solid on blue winged olive nymphs during the day, then dries and emergers in the afternoon if fish are rising.
Otherwise an attractor dry fly or terrestrial with a scud tied below will work very well.
Fish are colorful and aggressive this time of year and fishing is fantastic!
