Season is open!Watch water temperature today as it will determine how active fish are. If it is too much below the 40 degree mark fish will be lethargic. Around lunch time, when water temps are the highest, fish will be the most active, and midges will be hatching throughout the area.
Midges and other small shilouette black bodied patterns will work on the surface (tricos, black caddis etc).
Fish scuds, black nymphs in size 18-20, and large leggy things sub surface.
Do not forget leeches and streamers as they will produce some nice fish this time of year.
