Many reports of slate winged dun mayflies hatching with a few streams warm enough (50 degrees) to see mayflies! Watch for more this week.Fishing is good, but only in the late morning to early afternoon window when water temperatures are at their peak.
Warmer temperatures this week will bring more insect activity and more fish activity as well.
Water temps are creeping over 40, and the closer they get to 45 the better the fishing will get this week!
Midges and tiny stones are hatching around noon, and sub surface scuds and caddis larvae/pupae are working well.
