It feels warm this morning!Water temperatures will be prime for early season today (and throughout the week). Expect peak temperatures between 40 and 45 with a few streams hitting 50.
Snowmelt is not a major concern as it will be below freezing again tonight locking up moisture.
Midges, tiny stones, and possibly some slate winged dun mayflies will be hatching today around noon and lasting as long as the sun is on the water.
Sub surface fish will be feeding on midge larvae and pupae, scuds, leeches, and larger nymphs.
