Despite another warm and sunny day fishing is solid and will remain so throughout the weekend. The hatches are during the first and last two hours of the day with the trico spinner fall picking up again with the warmer weather, and the small olives still strong in the evening. Both hatches have midges thrown into the mix too.Mid day hopper fishing has been excellent with fish responding well to hopper patterns with and without droppers.
Sub surface fishing is hot right now with small, thin bodied flies being key. The only patterns larger than a size 16 that we are having consistent luck on are scuds in gray and tan.
