The cranefly hatch has made fishing a ton of fun in the Driftless!Fish are feeding on surface craneflies and soft hackles swung just below riffles all day.
There are also a handful of caddis and olives hatching.
Subsurface fishing has been great on scuds, cranefly larvae, pheasant tails, and midge larvae.
Waters are low and clear with temps in the low 50s to mid 50s.
