 We're hopper happy here!
  All the rain that has been pounding other parts of the state have missed us completely. We have had only about 1/2 and inch in the last 24 hours.  Our streams are clear to stained and temperatures are cool and will drop another degree or two over the next couple of days.
The weather has been perfect for hopper fishing and the fish have been responding.  Toss a hopper near the bank or overhanging vegetation and hold on.
  Trout are also eating ants and beetles in the shallower water and slower flats.
  Subsurface fishing has remained solid on thin bodied flies, and with the cloudy weather scuds have started to pick up more fish too.
