Driftless Area

Rating: 3, temperature: 81 ℉, condition: Flurries.

Another inch of rain fell yesterday evening.  It was a good soaking rain and did not muddy things up severely.  Expect clear to stained water area wide.
The stained water has really turned fish on. On top of the tricos, terrestrials, and thin bodied head heads, trout are eating leeches and scuds and even San Juan worms very well.
Water temps are in the mid 50s to mid 60s.  As long as the clouds stay in, fishing will be solid all day long.  If the sun peeks out things will slow down.
